The kids had a pretty good month as far as music goes. They went to see Ed Sheeran perform at the Times Union Center in Albany on May 13th. The kids have the pictures and Jessica recorded every song he performed but I don't have anything to share here other than this picture Jessica posted on Instagram.
The day the kids went to the Ed Sheeran concert was Bella's birthday. She is 1 now. *sprinkles confetti*
Ben wanted to get to Massachusetts as soon as possible Memorial Day weekend. Shortly after the girls got home from school on Friday, we were on the road to my mother's house. We were a few hours earlier than I had originally told her. When we arrived, she was trying to load a couple of cats that she had been cat sitting. One of them was in hiding when we arrived and we never saw her the entire weekend. We did help her look for well over an hour, looking under and behind furniture in every room. She was able to get one cat back to the owner that night. She left the next morning for Kentucky to see family and attend a memorial service for a brother.
Monday morning we picked up my Aunt Beth and went to Attleboro to visit with my Great Aunt Mabel. This is the first time she has seen all of my family in over 10 years. Of course, she probably didn't remember them that afternoon but I'm glad the kids were able to see her and know who she is.
