The Cousins Day that cancelled in January was held yesterday. It was at my Aunt's house and was a fun day. There was A LOT of food. My cousin's daughter made the bunny cake above. It was a marble cake and really good and cute. She used an egg for the bunny's "bottom" on the cake. My aunt ordered chicken bites from Augusta Subs and had chips, shrimp and a fruit tray. I brought BLT macaroni salad, white chocolate party mix, and caramel corn.
We played some games to break the ice a little faster. My aunt had a game for them where they moved the M&Ms from one cup to another using a straw. Jessica said that was hard because she was laughing so much from all of the sucking noises around her. :)
They had to match eggs. All of the eggs were different colored tops and bottoms and somewhere in the pile you could find the match.
They had to stack a pyramid of 36 cups. This was tough because someone else's cups would fall over and knock down another persons tower and they would have to rebuild.
The next game was a Peep-za party. There were 3 pink peeps on the pizza tray. They had to shake, rattle and roll to get the yellow ones off the tray and leave the pink on.
A simple jelly bean toss to a cup at the other end of the table. There were a lot of jelly beans to pick up off the floor.
They also did Face the Oreo with the Oreo cookie on the forehead and they had to move it with their face muscles to their mouth.
There was also a peanut on the spoon game that I didn't see at all. I had gone to get a drink and it was done by the time I got back.
I think everyone had a good time. We stopped by my mom's for some Uno before heading home. We had snow showers all day and of course their was black ice going home. I didn't use cruise control because I thought that wouldn't be a good thing in the conditions we were driving in. We saw 2 cars in a ditch, one that spun out and a 5-car pile-up. Crazy. Thankfully we made it home safely and without incident.
