Patriots

While the Patriots didn't win, or even try for that matter, Ben was happy to be there.  He is hoping to hit another game before the season is over.

Christmas

I note that Bella is in most of the posts that I've made since we got her.  She is cute.
The annual gingerbread house.  We only made one this year.  We bought a kit for the tree too.  That turned out cute but it was made Christmas eve.  It is in one my pictures but I don't know that it made it on this post.
Christmas Eve and I finally took my camera outside to get a picture.  I wish it was snow falling but it was a light drizzle.  Ben took care of our outside decorations this year.  He did a nice job.  I will miss having his help next year.

I still had my camera out when Grandma Cookie arrived so a couple more shots but with people. :)

I have a lot of pictures from present opening but I chose this one.  That big box contained tickets for the girls to go see 5 Seconds of Summer in concert.  The blanket wrapped around Ben was made for him by Becca.  One side is Red Sox and the other side is Celtics.
Ginger was nice enough to send Bella a stocking.  There are several items that she really enjoys from it.
Ben wanted a picture of this Jenga game because they got it so high.  He says it is a record.

A Dusting of Snow

I love the above picture.  It isn't a lot of snow but I love the look of it on the branches.  So pretty with the sun shining.
Ben had a lot of fun in the snow.  It was snowing during the night and he kept running and out of the house.  I was up quite late knitting when I got a text from him.  He had locked himself out of the house.
Bella likes to play in the snow.  I'm not really sure what it is she is biting at but she takes little nips at the snow.
Ben's snowman.  Ben asked me if I wanted to see his snowman.  I told him I did and the way he was acting, I thought he had taken a picture of it.  Next thing I know he is carrying in a snowman that is close to 2 feet tall for me to see.

Fall - Becca Style

I think Becca enhanced the colors of this picture of our back yard but it is so pretty.

Waiting . . .

It the same routine most days.  The kids are at school or work and Bella and I hang out together.  When she hears the sounds that mean the bus is coming, she bolts to the couch and looks out the window and watches for the big, yellow bus that will soon be there.  Some days she stays on the couch until she sees them but more often than not she heads for the front door.  If I'm on the ball and pay attention the time, we will meet them outside.  She goes crazy when she sees them.  It is fun to watch.

Paint Bar

Someone at a church my mom attends organized an activity for the women at a paint bar in New Hampshire.  They announced it the weekend we were there for the Topsfield Fair.  My mom and I had a nice time meeting at her house, picking up her friend, painting and then we went to dinner before I journeyed back to New York.
It was fun to see how everyone had their own take on the same picture.

Dr. Seuss

Ben and I went to Springfield, MA to go to the Basketball Hall of Fame.  We went early enough to get there when the doors opened so we would have time to take it all in before we needed to head home for the girls after school.  We got there to find out that it was closed to patrons due to a seniors fair going on.  We went to breakfast and tried to find something in the area to do.  We came across a noteworthy Dr. Seuss sculpture garden.  We enjoyed the park there and went into the library and read for an hour before heading home.  Not the take we had planned on but a nice one nonetheless.

How many adults would still sit in a chair in front of a book for their mom?

Topsfield Fair

Toward the end of September, I started thinking about fall and fairs and thought about the Topsfield Fair.  I talked with Rad and my mom and it was something we could squeeze in.  The weekend of the twins birthday we went to Massachusetts for the Topsfield Fair.  We had planned to go on Saturday but it was so rainy.  We were on our way, stopped by my mom's work to pick up another umbrella and, after talking about it, decided to go the next day.  We went to the Pheasant Lane Mall where the kids got a taste of the oyster truffles from Godiva.  Yum!
Below are a few pictures from the fair.

Wouldn't you love a rabbit like this one?
Waiting for the horse show to start.  They played Sweet Caroline during the wait.  So fun to sing along with everyone.
Selfie with Becca.
