Sunflowers

I learned of this place to go pick your own sunflowers. I was excited to go but being July and hot, I wanted to go early in the morning before it go too hot. I will have to rethink that next time. They watered the fields early in the morning so it was pretty muddy where the flowers were. We stood on the edge to clip some stems. Still, a fun take with Becca.

 

Geocache

 

Apollo has a cache out there for him. Rad sometimes goes hiking with a couple of fellow geocachers. 

It reads: Rad has a new hiking/biking buddy, Apollo, who accompanies him on his daytime/evening/nighttime geocaching forays into the Sandia Forest and wilderness areas. Apollo is full of energy and spunk and wants to be first where ever Rad goes. This cache is dedicated to Apollo.
