April 9th we had the kids miss school so we could attend the Ft. Lauderdale temple open house. The kids liked seeing more than the baptismal font of the temple. Becca like the colors and the Celestial room. Rad liked the garden room, which has wall painted like the Everglades.
Rad took my camera outside and took a lot of pictures of the lunar eclipse on the 15th. I'm impressed with how nice some of his pictures are. He tried to get the kids to get up to go out and see it but none wanted to. I watched it on my iPad where the screen was updated every 60 seconds. Rad's way was definitely better but I was happy to not get up.
Ben's prom was on the 26th. He went with his friend Minna.
His friend Caitlyn was at our house before they left for dinner, too.
I love the clouds in Florida and storm clouds are pretty nifty looking too. I snapped this picture after picking up the girls from the bus stop.
The top pictures I shared last month, the bottom pictures are one month later. Look how fast they grow. I actually saw one of the babies laying in the grass by the fountain and the parent standing around while it rested. It struck me that for all the time that we've been here, I've never not seen them standing and wandering around.
