Sunday after Ben got off from work we went to Massachusetts to go to the reenactment in Lexington. We got up at 4am Monday morning to give Bella medicine so she wouldn't get car sick. We left my mom's around 4:30 to head to Lexington. The event started at 5:45am. Paul Revere came riding on a horse just before 6 and soon there after was the battle. When the cannon shot Bella wasn't too excited but when the muskets started firing she was out of there. She and I headed back to the van while the others watched. By 6:15 it was all over. We stopped at Dunkins to get some donuts and then we went back to my mothers and she made scrambled eggs and sausage.
Rad and Ben went to Boston to catch a Red Sox game. It was rained out in the 7th inning but the Red Sox won and that is all that matters. The girls and I played various card games with my mom and we had lunch at a Chinese restaurant in Chelmsford.
We were on the road headed home by 5pm. I didn't want to leave too late knowing we were up early and got in late the night before. Better to be safe than sorry.
