Audubon House

I wanted to go to the Audubon House solely to see the works of John James Audubon.  I thought there were 22 images of his in the house.  It turns out their are 28.  The 22 number came was the number of new birds he saw while visiting the Keys and Tortugas.

The home itself was built by Captain Geiger.  He lived there with his wife and 11 children.  He made a living by being a wrecker.  It makes sense that there were a lot of shipwrecks off the shore and he and/or his crew swooped in.
