Universal

We used day 2 of our 3-day pass. I think we were originally shooting to go in March but it just didn't work out. Sometime in the next month, we will use the last of our days back at Islands of Adventure so the kids (twins primarily) can get their Harry Potter fix. We are looking forward to the final movie coming out this summer.

Some of the things we did while there: we took a boat ride with Jaws in the water, we experienced a tornado, shot at aliens, rode a rollercoaster, went to an attraction that used patrons as the characters in the movie "Mutha Nature". We saw a show with pets from different movies performing tricks.
This turned out to be a fun take. The kids spent a lot of time in this section of the park, which was focused more on little kids. You can see behind Curious George's hand some water guns in the railings. Kids would be up there squirting those walking by below. There were a lot of places behind the walls to get wet or get someone wet too. There was one boy that kept squirting at myself and another woman. She turned and asked, "Is he yours?" Kind of annoyed and I was happy to respond that it wasn't.
I did see Ben dump a bucket of water on a little boy. He was around 4 and was in shock. Ben laughed and ran. On top of the building is a huge bucket that fills with water and once it reaches a certain level, it tips over. That was a crack-up because Stephanie was on the porch shooting with the guns when it tipped. It comes through the roof and she ended up soaked. So funny,
In the same area is a building with balls that you can load into guns and shoot at people. Everyone had fun here but I have to say, Ben was in his glory. If he wasn't at a gun, he was picking up the balls chucking them at people. Once again, he hit some kids and I think he even hit a grandma. When he noticed I was watching him, with a big 'ol grin, he said "Hi, Mom." and kept on going.

Here he is taking aim at me.
The squirrels seem to beg from people. Ben gave him a little piece of his breakfast bar.
The view from the parking lot as we were leaving.
