We went to the store yesterday to buy some more food for the gerbils. We usually stop to see the bunnies. We held quite a few yesterday and there was one that we just loved. I called my sweetie at work to see what he thought of us getting one. He didn't want one because they "are like dogs and belong outside." We didn't buy the bunny then and came home with plans of discussing it over dinner.
I'm not sure how long he was in the door before the conversation began, well before dinner though. A quick call to Grandma Cookie for some words of wisdom because she has one and could give us better insight on all that would be involved and how to litter train it.
We went back to the store last night but they were closed. We made a third trip this morning, arriving 3 minutes after the doors opened and came home with this cute little one. The argument was won by the new pet owner by stating that everyone else has a pet (or had one in the case of Ben with a goldfish) and she was the only one that hasn't had a pet yet. How do you argue that?
