26 Years 3 Months 6 Days

Today's was Rad's retirement from the Air Force. His mom, dad, and a cousin of his mother's came. We had a few friends come as well. While they talked of the work he had done over these years as he served in the military, the funniest thing to me was a gift from office mates. They gave him an over-sized shopping bag full of snacks. They talked about how much he enjoyed eating. He says that he had to go through their office to get to the microwave to reheat his lunch. I'm thinking he likes to snack. The kids have given him gift boxes filled with snacks a few times over the years.

We are happy for the journey it has been for our family as we've gone back and forth across the country moving. We are grateful for the opportunity to see so much of our country and to play tourist at the places we've lived. Military life has been a good experience for us, mostly because of the people that we've become acquainted with and some which we call friends.
