Jessica and Stephanie had their wisdom teeth out last Wednesday. Their appointment was for 6:30am so we left home just before 6am. Everything with the extraction went smoothly. Jessica woke up laughing and Stephanie woke up crying. Stephanie would comment that she was annoyed she was crying and she couldn't stop crying even though she wasn't hurt. They were in the same room for the recovery and at one point Stephanie asked if Jessica could talk because she hadn't said anything. That made us laugh.
The recovery was a little interesting to me in that Jessica took the Motrin they prescribed so her face didn't swell as badly as Stephanie's did. Interestingly, Stephanie's mouth healed faster and she was able to stop rinsing the holes sooner because they had closed up.
They were diligent about putting ice on and off their face to help with the swelling. They then switched to a heating pad, which they tied around their head. So funny!
