This was a crazy busy month. Rad was gone for 2-1/2 weeks for work. Becca took the ACT and SAT and did fairly well on both. She will retake the SAT in the fall. They all had regents to take for their classes. We were pleased with their report cards although Stephanie is still grumbling that she got a B in English. She had an 88 or 89 and thinks that it is load of bunk. Ben finished work, leaving us 2 weeks to get mostly his clothes and luggage for his mission. He went to the temple with Rad on the 23rd. He made one last trip into Boston the weekend before he left touring Fenway, having pizza at Faneuil Hall, snapping some pictures at North End.
Monday Becca left for camp. We went to Saratoga to see MoTab perform. Rad organized military tickets so my mom and the kids were at the booth signing people in, giving them their tickets, a goodie bag with t-shirts, a MoTab CD and pens. Rad and I were at the Automobile Museum where we were a host couple for a couple of military VIPs. I went back to the booth early and then we went to hear the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Overall it was good. It probably would have been better if I wanted to be there. haha
The twins left for camp today and my mom went back home. We bought the last items Ben needed, 2 pairs of shoes and a watch. He was set apart as an Elder and we went to dinner at Red Robin. He finished his packing and we leave for the airport bright and early in the morning. It is going to be tough.
