We went to a drive-in church in Daytona yesterday. When you enter the gate, there are greeters on either side that provide you with a program and sacrament cup for each person in the vehicle.
The cup had grape juice in it, a seal with a little piece of bread under the lid, which you can see above. It tasted like Playdoh and felt similar too.The service was conducted from the balcony of the church. The choir was inside the sliding doors on the same level. The title of the sermon was "I Am What I Am". The Pastor was talking about Paul and used the phrase "prisoners of Christ", which Stephanie thought gave a bad image and didn't care for it. Rad explained about Paul and what the Pastor was saying. The kids thought it was fun that after the musical number and at the end, you honked your horn for the applause.
After church, we went to the portion of the beach that you can drive on in Daytona. It wasn't too busy but there were a lot of people walking. The rip current was strong so you couldn't go in the water.
This pier is where they always give reports from when a storm is coming. A beautiful day for us.
