Ben ordered his snazzy class ring today. He was pretty excited about it when he came home with the catalog last week and we took time to look through it and go over all of the options. Of course, the hardest decision was what to put on the sides. He opted for the school mascot (hawk) on one side and the other side has basketball, baseball and track. His thinking being he played on a baseball team for 7 years and he has been on a basketball team for 2 years. Although, today he tells me he is thinking he may try out for basketball next year just for the fun of it. It has been his plan to pick up track since he dropped band. He is counting on Rad to help train him before the season hits.
The other perk for ordering it today was that he got a free "Class of 2014" t-shirt, which he immediately put on when he came home.
Totally unrelated - did you catch that the Celtics won tonight (against Miami Heat). Ben wanted to get his Jersey and put it on but he was afraid to jinx it. He cracks me up!
