The spelling bee was today and Jessica moved on from her class to the competing with the other kids that won in their class. It lasted 4 rounds and she was out on the first round with the word boundaries. She forgot the "d". It is funny how it is luck of the word. I noted in the next round a couple of the words were debris and yacht that were a little tricky and there were also the easy ones like balloon. The final round was ambidextrous and carnivorous. The boy to the right of the picture won the spelling bee. I forgot my camera and ended up using my phone. We were very early because we didn't know what time it started, just that it was this morning. While we were waiting, Ben was playing with my phone to silence the ringer and ended up setting it off . . . twice. Everyone laughed but it was really loud in such a quiet setting with just a few people.
