This hope chest is special. My grandmother gave it to my mother when I was a kid to be given to me later. When my dad passed away, Beth had gone to my mother's house and reclaimed the hope chest. She left it to me in her will. I'm happy to have it back again. It got a little damaged in the shipping. Rad has suggested we get it refinished anyway. I don't know when we will do that, but I'm happy to consider it.
