We certainly didn't plan to get a puppy. This is what happens when you don't pay attention to what is truly being said. Stephanie has a habit of showing me pictures of dogs that I wouldn't want to own. She came to my desk Tuesday night and asked "Isn't this puppy cute?" Elated that this is one I would actually consider, I asked, "How much?" Note that she didn't ask, "Can we get this puppy?" I just went off of past discussions that she wanted a little brother for Bella.
